TrappersAuction.com was launched September 1, 2009 by Witco Enterprises, Inc. The owners of Witco felt that there was a need in the market for an Auction site that was more accepting of the outdoorsman. This site acts as a window for sellers to conduct auctions and for bidders to bid on sellers auctions.

Witco Enterprises was formed in July of 1996 as a sales organization. In May of 2009 Witco launched Wolf Creek Products a company that produces and distributes products for the Trapping Industry.
